Women’s Soccer NCAA Tournament

The 5th seeded Huskers have equaled their best finish in school history with an Elite 8 appearance. They look to make their first College Cup (equivalent to the Final Four) in school history. They got here thanks to 3 home wins at Hibner Stadium with record crowds in attendance. Elenor Dale scored two goals to continue to lead to the nation with (a school record) 28 goals in Nebraska’s 4-0 win against UC Irvine. Now the team heads on the road to take on one of the blue bloods in 2nd seeded Stanford. The Cardinal have the 2nd most championships all time with 3 (North Carolina is first with 21). This is the first time Nebraska has been underdogs in a while, but hopefully not the last!
