Boom..... Brian Tapu is N

Well after what seemed too long the Huskers FINALLY got a offensive lineman and he's a good one. On3 has him listed at 6'8 but he is more likely the 6'5 height that the Nebraska website is listing. Either way he fills a position of dire need. To put it bluntly, Offensive tackle is one of the Hardest to recruit either by portal or recruiting. Every team wants them and they are hard to find. Think about it this way. When was the last time you saw a 6'5 320 pound guy in the super market? Not only that but is young and is willing to put in the work And has the ability. That sentence probably made an English teacher wince but I hope the point is made. The good news is this is a good one.

1.) All the recruiting sites that I look at has him as a 3 star.

2.) He's a Polynesian descent and that culture means that they play with an edge. Think Bloodlines in WWE. Another bonus is that others will most likely follow. It is established that they tend to stick together at colleges.

3.) Even though there is 80 Freshmen and Redshirt Freshmen on the team right now. You can never have enough Big Bodies.

4.) Unfortunately, the Huskers whiffed on a lot of their top recruits. So this is a big win to get some momentum. In todays college landscape you better have your class locked up by July.

5.) Watching the highlights of him, he can most likely put on 20-30 pounds and still move really well at around 320. He also has a Nasty disposition when he plays. Like just mean which is what you need to be successful. One player said to play D-line you need to be nasty. To play O-line you need to be mean and nasty.

Please tell me what you think about this recruit and how I did. I hope to be regular at this but will need practice. P.S. my wife is not here to proofread so any typos, mistakes, or grammar problems. It isn't my fault. I graduated from Hastings High.
